I've been a regular client of Hey Sugar waxing salon, so i decided to make this review for all of you who been asking what is sugaring.
Did you know that sugaring is already in trend and started in 1900 BC?
Wayback in 1900 BC, sugaring is also known as Sugar waxing or Persian waxing, as a result, it is speculated that honey was the first sugaring agent.
Nevertheless, if you have sensitive skin, sugaring can result in skin irritation and reaction.
However, this can sometimes be prevented by taking pain relievers after the waxing session. Sugar itself is otherwise hypoallergenic. (informations from wiki)
Hey sugar offers organic and all-natural waxing option in the city. Although, some other waxing salons offers sugaring too.

Since, i was so curious about sugar waxing way back then, i tried hey sugar's services which they offer Hot and Cold wax. They also offer Threading and Eyelash enhancement Services.
From the outside, you will first notice their pretty florals, girly and pastel Interiors and Colors.
I love florals that's why every time i drop by here i feel enthusiastic.
For me, it doesn't look like a waxing salon it looks like a Coffee shop or cupcake shop like Vanilla Cupcake Bakery.
hey sugar offers 2 types of sugar wax, which is Cold and Hot sugar wax, however they recommend hot sugar wax more since it is less painful unlike to cold sugar wax.
The aesthetician told me that hot wax is less painful than the cold wax, still it depends on your pain of tolerance.
I tried hot wax for my Underarm, which is good as what the aesthetician told me since hot wax removes impurities and whitens the underarm itself. I don't really know if that's true since i don't have enough knowledge at waxing.
I was directed at a private room. From the looks of their private room every things inside of this room is very organized like their reception area.
Here's the sneak peak of the Hot wax they are using.
The underarm wax lasted for around 3 mins or less only, which is pretty fast.
All throughout the process, the aesthetician and i were chatting which makes me feel more comfortable. The aesthetician will give you advices, and will ask what deo you're using right now also if you use deo before you're waxing treatment.
Since they promote and market organic, they use cornstarch, instead of powder prior to waxing and put virgin coconut oil after waxing the treated area.
The Wax they are using is made of pure sugar and calamansi, that known to have whitening benefits. Pretty quirky! Organic indeed!
To tell you the truth it's not painful, unless you'll try the brazillian/bikini wax they are offering.
you will know if waxing is really painful or not. Though, the aesthetician will pluck or thread the remaining strands of hair in the treated area after waxing if the hair is too tiny and small.
They also offer organic skin products inside their store, which is too cute to be true!
Especially the color of the scrub.

Overall, i was happy because if you're already a regualr customer they will treat you like a v.i.p same as a first timer, they will help you on what is more convenient and painless.
