Hello Guys! You know what? I am such a big fat liar, because i am just fooling myself, especially when it comes to the foods i wanna eat. It sucks to promise myself that i will stop eating more and focus on my excercise and diet but here i am writing a review on a Cute Fancy Coffee Shop! What can you say about the Number 1 Girl's Biggest lie? D I E T.
So i will be writing a review about this Newly Re-Opened Coffee Shop at Southwoods City at Biñan City, weird right? A city located in a city? HIHIHI.
Fig Tree Cafe & Events is located beside the Future Southwoods Mall inside the Coral Center and near the Mercury Drug Store.
Fig Tree is a themed Cafe serving Lunch, Dinner, and in between. They are open every Monday to Saturaday at 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Also they offer Catering and Styling on such events. If you look inside, you can see the the interior of the cafe looks like chic and little bit vintage and focus on pastel colors.
I really love to hang out with my friends with these coffee shops, good thing there's already now at south! The place is very realxing and a quiet place that you can chill with your friends or dine all by yourself.
The staffs in here are very nice, attentive and very accommodating unlike other cafes, the staffs will pout on a customer if they haven't picked the order yet. Anyways, when we got inside we are too loud and we haven't got our order yet soon as we enter the cafe since we are still deciding on what to order, hihi naughty us! Yes, it take 21st century to finalize our order.

You see? PASTELS! i love pastel colors, especially the touch of colors pink and baby blue!
Do you spot their lamps? the designer of this cafe have a great ideas for such unique cafe like these. I'm so happy blogging cafes like these especially when it is so much similar with the course i graduated. (HRA student here! Hotel and Restaurant Administration)
We're about to get our orders, and i was so happy knowing that they served Matcha Green Tea and even Oreo Cheesecke! ❤
Waiting time is only about 20 mins. or less than 15 mins. such fast service indeed. ❤

The side dish should be fries but instead of fries they put ridges chips.
Lechon Kawali Php 160
Brownie Ala Mode Php 100
The brownies has bitterness, though you can taste it's sweetness since it has ice cream on top. I like the presentation of the food it looks so appetizing.
Unfortunately the brownie is too wet unlike to a regular brownie which should be dry but not too dry nor not too hard to eat. Oh well,
Oreo Cheesecake Php 120
To be honest i don't like the taste of this oreo cheesecake they offer. It doesn't taste oreo cheesecake at all. It taste really bad! I think some of the ingridients is already moldy. they should double check if the food is already expired or not. The consistency of the cheesecake's cream filling is not fluffy, it's too creamy looks like a gelatin. i was really dissappointed the time i tasted this.

Well, that's the overall of the food and beverages we've ordered and to my surprise i was a bit dissappointed. The place is so nice and beautiful but the food taste bad except for lechon kawali and the beverages we ordered. I am also wondering how come the brownie a la mode is their best seller? the way they baked the brownies doesn't complement with the ice cream since the brownie is too wet not dry and soft for an ordinary brownie that would go for brownie a la mode recipe. (yep, i know that since i have already take my subject, catering & banquet operations)
Sorry for giving too much critic for the food! >_<
I don't know what's the taste of the other pastries and desserts they offer but i wouldn't think twice to try another shot since i was dissappointed on my first time experience.
i have visited many cafes and fig tree is nothing with the cheap cafes i have visited in tagaytay city and in other areas of cavite since i haven't gone to try the new cafes in manila preferably at north ❤. Yes they are affordable but not worth trying. For my review and opinion, they should improve the taste of the food they offer preferable the pastries
Anyways, we are bit dissappointed but that won't stop us to take pictures to the place, right? hihi since the place and theme they have is very unique and beautiful.
