PRODUCT REVIEW: SOLIQUE GEL POLISH BY GIRL STUFF

Thursday, January 26, 2017

One of my biggest nightmare is applying Polish on my own nails. Honestly! That's why i always drove to nail salons after every 1-2 weeks.

I'm scared that my nails will look awful and not identical as it used to be, but upon trying again for like 100th times it's not bad at all! hehe! For the record, i am a left-handed person and i find this very difficult to me, my hands are also palsied so i kinda bit shaking while applying the polish itself on each of my nails.

Check out my first ever Nail Polish tutorial and it's kinda exciting because it's my first time doing a blog and also a video of me while applying a nail polish on my nails. So, Lets Start!

So, let me introduce to you Solique Gel Polish by Girl Stuff. I was so curious about this polish because you won't needing your professional UV light nail dryer for this.

Check out my Vlog for this Review Don't forget to subscribe and like the video!

Girl Stuff polish is developed in and imported from France so for sure this Polish would be high quality! According to my research, Girl Stuff Polish doesn't contains any harmful chemicals like Toulene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde resin and camphor which we can found on other nail polish brand that we're using. They assured 100% that their polish is very gentle on our nails and won’t cause any damage and yellowing usually caused by formaldehyde-infused nail polish.

I know you've already experienced having yellowing of nails, because i do too and it's awful but thankfully girl stuff polish is 5-FREE chemicals.

To start with, of course first remove your current nail polish. I am using Girl Stuff acetone-free nail polish remover with strawberry scent. I'm not so much into strawberry scents i prefer orange scents rather than this, as far that i remember skin food has it so, i hope they would create one too hehe! This Nail polish remover is also non-toxic and helps to moisturize nails.

Here's my hand before, i just had my manicure recently at California Nails Salon at Alabang town center branch and unfortunately after i leave the salon my polish still hasn't dried up yet and i kinda ruined my polish so i decided to buy a nail polish and i will be the one to apply all by myself at home, while strolling at the mall my eye caught Girl Stuff branch at ATC and i didn't think twice to buy one because they have various of cute and dainty nail polish colors and of course this blog was born!

So moving on, this is my hand after i removed my nail polish. There are still few nail polish stains still remained on my nails but it will wash off easily because i have palsied (pasmado) hands! HAHAHA

Don't forget to buff your nails! After removing nail polish your nails will feel like thin that's why i buff my nails every time i remove my polish or change a color of polish.

LOTION TIME! I love lotions! Apply lotion to your hands and nails, i love the scent of this lotion, it is pomegranateLotion can also help your nails moisturized every time.

Here's another preview with Solique Gel Polish. This color is serenity it's like lavender color.
The other one is the top coat that you'll be using for the gel polish they also have UV Glow
top coat WHICH REALLY GLOWS, next time i'll buy that one too and of course it'll be an added review to one of my blog collection

Actually, i'm not a pro when it comes to applying nail polish because as what i said earlier on this blog i am a left-handed person so it's very difficult to adjust hahaha!

Again, i'm not a pro sorry if my nails will look ugly while applying the polish HAHAHA!
First apply your first layer of nail polish. It depends on how many layers you will apply but the i recommend apply not more than 3 layers because it will look a little bulky, i guess?

I only applied 2 layers of nail polish because it's too already thick if i applied the 3rd layer. By the way, this polish is quick dry that's why it's very handy to use, i think 2-3 mins is enough and your polish is already dried up.

After applying the gel nail polish you can already apply the top coat. I skip taking a photo on my left hand but anyway at least i showed you how i demonstrate the whole process starting from removing the polish and applying the Gel Polish and top coat hehehe.

Here's the outcome of my nails yey! I'm so happy because it doesn't look messy at all compared to my previous experienced when applying nail polish.
