PRODUCT REVIEW: JIGGOT Well-Being GREEN TEA SKIN CARE KIT
HONEST REVIEW!
First of all, before i start this review i would like to remind everyone that we should always know when to stop using skincare products when you already having breakouts from it. I think prevention is much better than letting it worsen.
Let me start with introducing the skin care product i bought last December in Manila Sundance Bazaar "Flea Market" at Glorietta. I bought this skincare product at korcosmetics.
They sell various of different korean cosmetics and skincare, i was intrigued because the lady offered me this skincare which can help my acne and told me that it was super effective since she also use it too. I was very amaze at that time wherein i didn't think twice buying this product. They also have a freebie when you purchase any skincare set, an essence facial mask and a peeling gel.
Here's the complete set of Jigott Green Tea Skin Care Kit. It includes a toner, Emulsion Cream, Day & Night Cream and Travel sized toner and emulsion cream. The toner and emulsion cream has 150 ml while the Day & Night cream has 60ml for the travel sized Toner and Emulsion cream each has 30 ml.
I admit, it does really smell like green tea. The scent of this skincare is same to etude house but more milder than etude house AC Clinic. I've never go wrong with the familiar scent
because i already purchased a moisturizer at etude house.
According to my research, the skincare helps to calms troubled and rough skin of unbalanced skin's physiology of skin's bodily wastes due to environmental pollution and making them bright and elastic by adding natural vegetable ingredients.
The toner's ingredients are Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glyceryl Stearate/PEG-100 Stearate, Allantoin, Glycerin
For the Emulsion, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glyceryl Stearate/PEG-100 Stearate, Allantoin, Glycerin, Carbomer
and last for the Cream, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract , Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Carbomer
All of them are all of the same functions and i have not yet seen any reviews about this product or sources that this product can cure acne. I would not recommend this product who has a sensitive skin type. The Emulsion combined with the day & night cream made my face super oily which is i do already have an oily face which answers the questions that this product is not for me at all. Also, i think a person who has dry skin type suits to this kind of skincare to keep them moisturized.
I use this skincare along with the Peeling Gel freebie they gave to me. They have lots of peeling gel and peel-off gel which is fruity and veggy. This Peeling gel is lemon also the scent is lemon citrus but not strong but i prefer the apple peeling gel than this one.
How do i use it?
Before i use them of course cleanser is a must. Cetaphil is my no.1 cleanser since it's more mild. Then i use the peeling gel. before using this peeling gel, i always dried up my face and then use a pea amount of the gel and apply all over my face. You may notice that the gel may be a little dark while rubbing and rubbing the gel into your face it's because it removes all the dirt from your face.
After that, you may now start using the toner with your cotton ball and apply all over your face and next with the cream emulsion and lastly the Day/Night cream.
Again, the emulsion and the cream made my face more moisturized and oily which my face became very oily. Sad to say i didn't like the after effect of this product and i can't show you any before and after pictures because this skincare gave me a lot of acne breakouts.
I'm really stressed about my face condition right now because i still have these breakouts. Right before i use these product i was just recently have my 3rd F.N.T session done with flawless and maybe i guess my face was 10x sensitive and it made my acne breakout.
Will i recommend it?
I will recommend this to all who don't have sensitive skin but if you really like to try, use a patch test first and if you do feel any itchiness better stop it right away.
