While i was looking for a nail salon at Alabang Town Center, there's this salon that caught my attention. Kitchen Nails on the Upper Ground floor (Commerce Ave.) of ATC. It was weird because they have a refrigerator in front of the counter which very amazing as an interior for their salon. Turns out this fridge holds some of their Nail Polishes, Scrubs and other stuff that being used for nail care. I didn't hesitate to enter the salon because it's too damn dainty and cute!
These are their Complete lists of services. I picked the Entree which you can select the ingredients for your Foot Spa. Feel free to mix and match your own choices.
This is my nails before being soaked by this cute frying pan. It's very cute! Honestly i was surprised on the first place why the heck frying pan but again it's kitchen themed that's make sense at all 😂.
Moving on, here are the ingredients that i chose, My scrub would be the Strawberry, the mask is the Milk, while the oil for the massage is the Green Tea also you choose what kind of massage you like. The lady encourage me just to pick the detox instead to cover all the kinds of massage.
Obviously, for a normal nail salon they would rather choose to use their palm to apply the mask but in kitchen nails they use spatula to apply the mask.
The Nail Technician wrap my legs in a clear plastic wrap to set the mask first. That's when she proceeded to do the pedicure.
If you're wondering, their cuticle remover cream are stored in a cute syringe which is for icing in baking. Although their basket is quite simple yet organized.
This is where they usually store their nail polish often too aside that mini fridge in front of the counter. they also have sterilizer, LED Lights for Gel polish and even nail dryers for regular polish. You may notice that it is also organized and neat which also kinda feels comfortable. I also liked how essential their salon was. They doesn't have the strong scent of nail chemicals inside which kinda burns to our sense of smell. Thanks for their humidifiers though! It's a plus for a nail salon!
Honestly, I'm quite disappointed how few nail polishes they only offer. Some of the nail polish i chose were already not available. I guess this is what they should improve on to have more choices of nail polish.
After the pedicure, The nail technician put a warm towel on top of my legs to removed the mask already. Honestly, it's very satisfying and relaxing.
After picking my polish she already applied it on my nails, take note that they charge extra fee for premium polish. I was also surprised in the first place that they have nail dryers for regular polish, because some other salons doesn't have nail dryers already. From what I've heard some were dispatched?
Anyway, i like how accommodating she was, because she was the one to insist to dry my nails to the nail dryer. It took 15 mins before it already dried completely since i am wearing sneakers. Good thing when i got home my polish weren't destroyed and still looks perfectly polished.
Overall, i loved my stay at Kitchen Nails because they are very friendly, accommodating and very driven to their work satisfying their clients. I also want to point out how the receptionist on the nail salon take time to explain me every thing i ask even the Entree's ingredients. Surprisingly, she didn't only memorize their services but she also did know the benefits of each one, it was very encouraging tho!
For my overall rating i will give them 4/5 star ratings.
Overall Rating: 4/5
