I've never tried any Korean Salons before, but I really wanted to try a new look, something a bit more korean-ish haircut, I have been dreaming to have short hair since i am already tired with my long hair, although i tried cutting it on another salon but i am not satisfied with the result, it just still feels the same, i guess? The feeling is just that there's still nothing change. I want more! Until i searched all over the net to find the perfect salon until i found Park Jun's Beauty Lab. I've always been curious with Park Jun's beauty Lab especially every time i always passed by on their Alabang and Glorietta branch. Park Jun's Beauty Lab always caught my eye.
Finally, I decided to drop by at their Alabang Branch, of course walk-in. I also don't have any idea what kind of set-up on their services are like. Anyway, as i was entering the salon the guard who opened the door for me and a one of the staff greeted me warmly. That's a good thing though and very flattering as a new customer.
I approached the receptionist and ask how much for the Haircut. Honestly, i am very shocked that moment, for that kind of price for just a haircut. Let's just skip that part for now and let me begin with my experience first.
Well, according to my research Park Jun Beauty Lab is has tons of positive reviews and wonderful feedback from different kinds of clients. They usually include photos, before and after photos. Director Kaite Kim and Style Directors Cindy Lee and Ara Jo shares their techniques of professional hairdressing and sharing the latest trends of hair dressing here in the Philippines. Especially Korean culture is very famous when Korean Pop boomed.
So let's quit the chitchats and start on a little tour with the Salon.
Here is the front of Park Jun's Beauty Lab in Alabang located at #2224-E upper ground level, Alabang Town Center, Muntinlupa City (2nd floor of Mark Spencer).

Here is their Reception and their Waiting lounge which obviously looks luxurious and cozy. Even if you're a new customer you will surely feel comfortable. Also, it looks like a coffee shop to me. The aesthetic of this salon is so perfect! It feels relaxing! I also love how fragrant their salon was unlike other salons that you can get headache from the scent of chemicals they're using.

The salon was large in extent It's like a double space of a normal salon. I feel really home, although i still feel a bit shy since this is my first time.
Entering inside, they have this large table which has tons of magazines, also serves as a waiting area also and their working area.

This is their washing area which has comfy reclining chairs. If you noticed, these kind of chairs are quite uncommon to low-end salons, unlike the one we're used to see at the malls.

The Style Director/Hair stylist that was assigned to me was Ms. Roxy Lee. She was very kind and friendly and approached me warmly and asked me if i am new here. Before we even get started she asked me first if i have something on my mind to copy a style for my desired haircut. Luckily, i still have the photo i saw from facebook.
Here is my reference for my dream hair.
I also asked here if she thinks it would suits me and to my face. She smiled and said it would be alright and the cut will suit me well. Before she cut my hair she asked permission first if i was ready and then i let her start do the magic. She was so kind and beautiful! I never feel so home at a salon before unlike now. Btw, she already proceeded cutting my hair because i got there my hair was still wet, though i still used conditioner before the service.
One of the staff asked me what kind of drink i prefer, I forgot what kind of drinks they usually offer but i chose Green Tea. The tea was served on an elegant tray with a coaster and biscuit. It is so nice! I also noticed that the coaster is rilakkuma hihi!
It's so hard to steal a few shots while having my haircut, you know right? I also loved how very meticulous she was when styling my hair. I really wasn't expecting much, but still i am nervous and concerned what if the cut will not suit me..
After waiting for mins. she was already done styling my hair. This is the Before and After photo of my hair. Honestly, i am so surprised. It is still wet but damn this cut is so perfect! She really did make it exactly like the photos i showed her, though i said i prefer no bangs at all, but the result is so much more than i expected. Anyway, she told to the staff to wash my hair first before my final touch up. Ate, ushered me on their wash area and ask me what temp. i prefer if it was cold or warm i asked here what's the best, i didn't know why i asked her that all of a sudden hahaha what's the best? Heck. [I laugh it off inside my mind]
I also liked the quick massage, while my hair was on conditioner! It made me relaxed for while tho, after rinsing my hair i went back to my seat and they dried my hair using a blower. Ms. Roxy did final touch ups to my hair, removing split ends, something like that. She asked me if i prefer my hair curled or just a natural blow dry. I prefer the blow dry instead of curling.
So after an hour of waiting, the Final result is this.
The results is so amazing! I didn't expect the cut to be exactly as the photo I've shown! Although I skip having bangs even if i wanted to have one to but more like a fringe instead of full bangs.
PROS

- The Senior Artist are the only one who will do your haircut.

- The Hair Assistants are so friendly and kind too!
- The Haircut already has Shampoo, Conditioner and Blowdry and also a short head massage! Feels so Relaxing!
- The senior stylist will ask you what do you prefer or like also if you have a photo to copy on she will be glad to help your needs.
- They are very neat when it comes to working, after the whole procedure they make sure to clean the hair that has been cut off.
- The Ambiance is very minimalist and relaxing, it's a quiet actually.
- Comfy Seats!
- The Senior stylist really want to make sure that you're comfortable and satisfied.
CONS
- It's hard to communicate if you're not good at English (just a reminder)
- It costs Php 1,000.00 for just haircut only. 😠It is very pricey for a haircut, mean it.. Even if i liked the outcome it is just too pricey...
Well, Overall i really liked the outcome of my haircut. Now i know why a lot of their clients where super satisfied with their service. I think that's why they have a lot of regular clients. I also did noticed that they are so friendly and approachable and they treat clients like VIP's. This is nothing but the truth because it's my first time there and i can't wait to visit again for sometime.
There's nothing more i can say, i am totally satisfied and feeling confident now with my hair especially my doubts are already at ease.
