This time we're gonna talk about Makeup Removers for Acne prone skin/Oily skin from Best to Worst. I have list of Makeup Removers to share to you guys that I've already tried that made my skin well and hell 😂.
Honestly, when you Have a Combination of Acne Prone/Sensitive Skin type like then this blog is for you! This is like our Trial and Error everytime a product goes wrong and didn't work out on our skin type. It's hard, right?
***
To start with, here are my list of Best Makeup Removers that I've had used already and that worked for my skin type.
MY BESTS
1. BIORE 2 IN 1 FOAMING WASH ₱349.00
This 2 in 1 Foaming Wash works like wonder! I love everything about this. Know why this is our top 1 makeup remover? It didn't react on my skin and had no breakouts at all when I used it over and over again. It does not only removes my face makeup but also my impurities and some of my eye makeup too! Unbelievable?Try it for yourself!
I only use 1-2 Pumps for my whole face and add another pump for the eye makeup area sometimes. Although, when it comes to mascara there's still some stains left on my eyes after cleansing. However, it doesn't worry me because with the help of baby oil I can clean the stains left on my eyes. The finish of this foaming wash really brings you natural freshness, because it really feels light and plump after use.
2. SHISEIDO CREAMY CLEANSING EMULSION ₱2,925.00
You may not believe me but this thing is really not for Acne/Oily skin because originally this product is for only dry skin. I didn't know that since my mom has it and I tried to use this from time to time and It worked! Though, the price is a bit horrifying and I'm not so sure about the accurate pricing of this product in Shiseido but more or less it's close to the price shown above.
This is really not your typical cleansing wash makeup remover. This is a Cream type formula and to use this product you will need either cotton pads or rinse your face after application.
The best thing about this product is that it can remove thick eye makeup so easily that will not harm your eyes and you won't needed to rub your eyes very hard just to remove the stubborn eye makeup. So why this product was on my 2nd best instead of the 1st one mentioned? It's pricey baby girl! 🤣 I only use this product if I only have FULL MAKEUP only every time I attend special events and occasions. If you're rich af you can use this casually, but tbh this is really a great makeup remover and it works for my skin type too.
It didn't cause me breakouts that's why I love this product. I reminds me of laneige products, look how very similar their packaging was. Also, you can feel your face very supple after gently wiping tissue on your face or rinsing it.
3. CETAPHIL GENTLE SKIN CLEANSING WIPES ₱279.00
My very essential product! If you're from work or an event and want to get rid the makeup right away. This Makeup wipes is the best solution for you! We all know that Cetaphil has the best formula and safest product for people who has skin problems like eczema and acne.
I always have this wipes in my bag if ever I wanted to remove my makeup or eye makeup right away. I love how handy this product and convenient. Cetaphil also claims their cleansing cloths won’t clog pores, mess with your natural pH balance, or strip away oils. Use one to wipe away the day, then throw it away. It also didn't break me out which is great!
Sometimes, I cannot help using the emergency wet wipes because I don't have any Makeup Remover wipes in me before and I don't know it was a thing now. Luckily, I found the best wipes that is perfect for my skin type.
3. The Face Shop Dr. Belmur Clarifying Bubble Foam Cleanser ₱679.00
No, This is not cheating! Hahaha, Actually Dr. Belmur Clarifying Foam Cleanser is not really a Makeup Remover but still counts sist! Why? Because it's not only milds your acne but remover your makeup even hard makeup as well. Just 2-3 pumps of foam and you're good to go! Tried and Tested gurl!
The funny and amazing in this cleanser is that it feels so light after rinsing. There's no stinging effect too! You will really feel that your makeup is already removed if ever you had heavy makeup on. Tho, eye makeup will not be removed easily on this cleanser except the products mentioned above.
4. BIORE CLEANSING OIL ₱349.00
Moving on for our next product, Biore Cleansing Oil is perfect for people who wears heavy makeup. Though, this product is also for dry skin type but the good thing is if you're an oily skin and used this it will not breakout you at all like it does to me. It also does not emulsify with water.
The Good thing in this cleansing oil is that it can remove eye makeup easily except for waterproof mascara and eyeliners. It may took a while before you can finally remove it.
5. BIORE MICELLAR WATER ₱506.00
If you're having double thoughts about cleansers and much prefer wipe-off make up removers instead. Then Biore Micellar Water is just right for you! No worries, because this makeup remover still works on heavy makeup.
Not only it makes your skin hydrated but it also does not make your skin dry after removing makeup unlike those common makeup removers. It gently dissolves makeup as well as eye makeup easily including waterproof mascara and eyeliners. Just make sure to soak your cotton pad on this micellar water and gently rub to the specific area. Though, if you're worrying about the pad friction,I still highly suggest to use the oil based onto the eye area instead of micellar water to prevent wrinkles in the future.
MY WORSTS
1. ELLANA TAKE IT EASY MAKEUP REMOVER ₱440.00
I really wanted to like this product since ellana claims that it's a mineral based product. It's not only very pricey but it's not a good match for my skin. It also leaves my skin still feeling heavy after use.
Though it does really removes makeup easily and even eye makeup but having an acne-prone skin, I don't want to gamble between my skin and this kind of makeup remover. Every after use it always gives me tons of breakouts which is not really pleasing and good at all.
2. BEAUTY BUFFET CLEANSING GEL ₱565.00
Same as Ellana's makeup remover, Beauty Buffet's The Professional Makeup Cleansing Gel gives me tons of breakouts. The worst thing in this product is that it claims this is very perfect for sensitive skin and can reduce oiliness that cause acne.
The formula is gel type, so when you applied it all over your face it feels heavy, silky and very annoying. It feels heavy on the skin! Eye makeup is also hard to remove when using this product, for it's price? It's very pricey! I can't forget how worst it made my skin when used this product. It's feels like you still have something on your face that doesn't come off just instantly. Ugh! I hate this product TBH!
3. L'OREAL MICELLAR WATER ₱225.00
UGH! When Maybelline launched their Micellar Water it was okay. Formula was just okay which is perfect for all skin types. When L'oreal launched a micellar water also, I am a bit hesitant about it, but I still take the risk to try the product. I already used some products of L'oreal and some of them were really didn't worked.
I am right when I tried this product. It cause me massive breakouts again and I am problematic about it. It would be great to use just the simpler micellar water that is perfect for sensitive skin or an acne prone skin.
3. CELETEQUE DERMOSCIENCE HYDRATION MAKEUP REMOVER CLEANSING FACIAL WIPES ₱160.00
Last but not the least, Celeteque Dermoscience's Facial wipes. Yup, I also tried this one and this is far one of the worst facial wipes that I have tried. Not only my face stings when I use this but Makeup is so hard to get off on my face when using this.
The scent make it more worst because it resembles to the scent of hair salon treatments. Seriously! I hate this wipes and it's very drying at the same time. If you're wearing heavy makeup, girl this wipes is not good for you! You don't want to have a lot of wrinkles do you?
It takes a lot of rubbing before you can finally remove all your makeup and it's not good for our skin TBH!
So anyway, I have given you all my bests and worsts makeup removers that I had tried.
I hope you liked this blog and helped you gain knowledge about these kind of stuffs.
Don't also forget to mind what products you use because for me based on my experience it's hard to take risk trying new skin care products and makeup products that is over hyped on social media. That's just a piece of my advice, i hope you enjoy reading this and hope to see next time on my other blogs ♡
