TRYING NEW PRODUCTS IN TOWN ⎻ SUNGLOW BY FRESH 🌻

Rei Germar and Mae Layug's newest product line "Sunglow by Fresh" is finally revealed in their latest video on their Youtube ChanneI! I know I'm not the only one who's excited about these product, I'm sure you're excited as well to try these goodies especially summer is already approaching. The long-awaited products of their collaboration with Fresh Philippines are called Sunglow. 

Tinted sunscreens are the newest foundations in town as we all know when Blk Cosmetics released their own tinted susncreen that gives an amazing coverage. Even Anna Cay released her own product line too which is the Skin Saver Tinted Sunscreen which I haven't tried yet but love too if ever I bought one since Anna cay's Skin Saver Tinted Susncreen more likely to sold out.

Anyway moving on with Sunglow Products, Rei and Mae stated the important deets on these babies on their video. A coverage of makeup as well as the benefits of skincare included too. We can't deny that these past few years skincare became huge hit in the beauty community. Each day passed and more products becoming more innovative than ever. Sunglow products are very perfect to us Filipino's who is living in a hot weather country. 

If you're wondering about sunglow's ingredients you can read the full details on the photo above. Also mae layug's stated on her facebook page that sunglow products are still working on it's ingredients and is it reef safe? She also stated that all Sunglow line products are physical sunscreen with non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as its main uv filter ingredient. We do not recommend the usage of sunmist when you are going to the beach because of the chemical UV filter. We recommend that you use our Sunmist for daily usage only. Is it safe for pregnant & lactating mothers?  All Sunglow line products are physical sunscreen with non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide; except for the sunmist. However, always check with your doctor before using any new products while pregnant or nursing. They also do not recommend the usage of the sunmist during pregnancy and lactation period. But they are still working towards producing a sunmist that is safe for pregnant and lactating mommies out there. 

Usually Sunscreen gives a white cast and feels very heavy on skin. I know that feeling too when I was using my derma's preferred sunscreen and it is sooooo sticky which I really found very uncomfortable sometimes. I can't help but get excited when makeup and skincare are becoming more universal which almost everyone can no matter what skin type they have and that is a  great thing!

Now, let me get started to introduce to you the Sunglow Products by Fresh Philippines.

Soon as I heard that Sunglow products are already available in watsons I didn't think twice to purchase these goodies. Sunglow has 4 products which is the crème Tinted Sunscreen, Tinted Lipscreen, Sun Mist and Set & Fix Mattifying Sunscreen Powder.

All of these products were made from Korea and has SPF 50 Broad Spectrum UVA/AVB Protection  and suits for all skin types. Sunglow is cruelty-free, paraben-free, & alcohol free but also make sure to read the other ingredients first in case you have any allergies but Mae and Rei ensures us that these products can cater to all skin types.

The Set & Fix Mattifying Powder isn't yet available to Southwoods Watsons as well as to the other Watsons branches and  when I checked it on their Official Store Online and Lazada the add to cart for the powder isn't yet available so maybe the availability of the product for consumers isn't yet available but girl I am so freakin' excited already! 

Anyway back to my review of these products, I actually did already my "FIRST IMPRESSIONS VIDEO" on my Youtube channel and If you wanted to watch the full video you can watch it here below but this review would be a little different because I'm going to share to you my PROS & CONS of the product.

First let me get started with Sunglow's Tinted Sunsceen in the shade FAIR. When I was browsing on the stalls the only shade left was Fair and Medium 2 stock for each shade gladly there's still left for me while the medium shade was already out of stock. I was gonna buy one also but well no choice I got fair shade only but for the Lipscreen the shades were all there.

I just wish that they have more shade range so they can cater a lot of consumers who's still incompatible with the shades but these shades released is a good start for sunglow. Sunglow's Tinted sunscreen retails at Php 429.00/50 ML 

Don't mind the tint on my hand cause I did a vlog review yesterday and the tint hasn't removed up until now 😂 Anyway, if you watched my Sunglow Vlog Review on my YT Channel you may understand that the tinted sunscreen has a very thick consistency but when applied on face it feels very lightweight on my experience. Also It has medium to full coverage which is really surprising for a tinted sunscreen which reminds me of blk's tinted sunscreen. It also blend very easily on my face and doesn't leave a whitecast which I had proven on my Vlog review.

Honestly this tinted sunscreen is a great alternative for foundation and perfect for everyday use. Not only your skin can breathe a little from heavy makeup but also sunglow products can give benefits the same as skincare can give. The packaging is really really cute and chic! The tinted sunscreen has an airless pump too if you didn't know.

You can see that the foundation looks really really great on my skin and I loved it very much considering that I have an Acne-prone/Sensitive skin but I didn't break out at all after washing my face or even the next day.

Now let's move on to their lipscreens which includes 3 shades to choose from. Since this is a lipscreen the shade may vary to your skintone and even the color of your lips. Those three shade were Sangria, Sunkissed and Very  Berry but the shade I loved the most is the sunkissed one because it looks very juicy on the lips. If you're curious what shade would be perfect for your skintone well, Rei and Mae gave a few recommendations that might help you out. First one is the Very Berry would be great for lighter skin, whilst the Sunkissed and Sangria would be great for our Morena Skin. 

It's a lip product that has a sheer coverage and protects your lips as well as adding a hint of color on your lips. This is very perfect for summer as well as for everyday use, and the thing about these lipscreen is that it feels really soothing and moisturizing on the lips especially if you have chapped lips, this lippie is the thing for you! You can use this product alone but also works a perfect base for your lipstick! Each lipscreen retails for Php 249.00/10G 

Now last but not the least is the Sun Mist which actually looks cute! To be honest this mist is the last stock when I got my butt at Watsons Southwoods mall. So lucky that I didn't think twice to purchase these goodies even though my bank account is on the verge of dying 😂.

Anyway, back to the Sun Mist, it is said that you can use this mist to your face as well as to your body. I had already tried using this mist and it really feels refreshing even the scent of it but take mind if you have allergies on fragrance, take a patch test first before using or spraying on your skin. The best thing with this sun mist is how much product it dispenses when you spray it on you. The Sun Mist retails at Php 299.00/100 ML.

You can also use this mist before or after makeup application. Tried and Tested and yes! It locks my makeup perfectly for a long period of time.

You may also notice that the Sun mist has dual lid which is very perfect for travelling to avoid spill as welll. I'm just really really attracted to it's matching color on their packaging it is very appealing on the eyes. I also want to remind you again that this sun mist is not yet advisable for pregnant, lactating women, or beach goers. According to sunglow and some of the youtubers who also reviewed the products, that these types of sunscreens tend to cause coral bleaching and can even disrupt hormones. 

So I guess this is where our blog ends, I hope you liked my introduction and review for the Sunglow products.If you wanna know about my Pros and Cons of the products you may read them below but overall I really liked them all and I can't wait to use them if ever the quarantine ends. ⛌ Apparently, I don't have any cons for this product aside from it is not transfer proof 🧡

✔ It leaves an amazing scent when applied
